Who we are

We're responsible for the personal information you give us on this website. Our company details are at the end of this page. If you have any questions about your information, email hello@marblediningtables.co.uk.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email address, delivery address and what you ordered. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe, and we never see or store your full card details.
When you ask for a delivery quote: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, delivery address and message.
If you create an account: your name, email address and password, which we store in a form no one can read, and your order history.
When you email us: your message and contact details.
When you browse: the cookies described in our cookie policy, and technical details such as your IP address, which our website host keeps for security.

How we use it

To make and deliver your order and keep you updated about it, which we need to do to carry out our contract with you.
To answer your enquiries and send delivery quotes, at your request.
To keep accounting and tax records, which the law requires.
To keep our website secure and prevent fraud, which is in our legitimate interests.

We don't send marketing emails and we never sell your information.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the companies that help us run our business, and only what they need: our payment provider, our email and website hosting providers, and our accountants. Our own team delivers your table; if a delivery partner delivers it outside the UK, we share your delivery details with them.

Some of these companies may keep information outside the UK. When they do, it's protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as UK adequacy regulations or the ICO's international data transfer agreement.

How long we keep it

Orders and invoices: six years from the end of the financial year they're in, as UK tax law requires.
Delivery quote enquiries that don't lead to an order: two years.
Your account: until you ask us to close it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to how we use it. You can also ask us to send it to you or another organisation in a format computers can read. Email us and we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
